The Via Silente (Silent Way) is a circular cycling route of approximately 600 km in the Cilento region of southern Italy. The route passes through quiet villages, rolling hills, forested mountains, and coastal viewpoints. Here’s a suggested breakdown of stages with notable attractions: 

1. Castelnuovo Cilento → Pollica Distance: ~35 km | Terrain: Rolling hills
Points of Interest: Medieval village of Castelnuovo Cilento, Pollica town center, coastal views near Acciaroli.
Start your journey in the hilltop village of Castelnuovo Cilento and descend gently toward Pollica, with charming streets and glimpses of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
 
2. Pollica → Vatolla Distance: ~28 km | Terrain: Gentle hills, rural roads Points of Interest: Pollica Castle, olive groves, small traditional farms, and quiet village streets. This stage moves from the coast toward inland hills, with peaceful roads and scenic rural landscapes.
   
3. Vatolla → Trentinara Distance: ~30 km | Terrain: Rolling hills Points of Interest: Vatolla historic center, panoramic viewpoints over the Cilento valleys, Trentinara town with its famous “Balcony of Cilento.” Enjoy a mix of climbs and descents, connecting rural villages and expansive valley views.
